Document View

Client can complete forms electronically

Key Concept

Clients can complete a wide variety of forms through the Client Portal's Document View feature and this area provides the same functionality within the Staff App. Here is an example of a document being signed.

Forms

Primarily, unsigned Treatment Plans will appear here. Once a Treatment Plan is signed by the provider, it will automatically appear here and in the Client Portal.

Forms like ROI have to be sent to the client portal manually, but they will appear hear as well. Many forms in the Correspondence area in Neo can also be sent to the Client Portal and more are added all of the time.

Signing

The client can sign using any of the input methods on the device. For example, on a computer, a mouse will work, while on a phone a finger can be used. It is recommended that a pencil and a touch screen be used to simulate signing on paper.

Once the client signs the document, they must return the device back to the provider to continue.

Locking

Since the device will be handed to the client, additional security is added at this phase of the process. If the device supports Touch/Face ID and is set up, using it to unlock the device is preferable. Otherwise, you must use the PIN. Contact IT for your PIN number.

Completing the Document

Once the client completes the form and signs it, and the device is handed back and unlocked, the provider must review and complete the document. The provider is expected to review that all the questions within the form are answered and the signature looks acceptable. When they are satisfied the form is done, they can submit it back to Neo. If Neo does not return validation issues, the document will close and return the Client Home Screen.
