Navigating The Schedule

Changing Dates

The Date Navigation Tool allows you to move between days easily by clicking the right or left arrows. Each click moves the schedule by one(1) day in Day view or one(1) week in Work Week view. The Today button gives you a quick way to move back to today's date. The date displayed is the day you're looking at(if in Day View) or the date of the beginning of the week that's being displayed(if in Work Week view).  The arrow beside the date will open a calendar that you can use to navigate to any day in the past or future.

The Date Navigation Tool allows you to move between days easily by clicking the right or left arrows. Each click moves the schedule by one(1) day in Day view or one(1) week in Work Week view. The Date Editor will allow direct access to the date by typing in a value or dropping down the calendar and selecting a date.

If you need to adjust other settings like selecting a different group or adjusting Options, change those settings before selecting dates.

 Work Week View

This view opens the schedule for up to 7 days for one provider. It always starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday. This view can be helpful to see a larger picture of the schedule load on one provider when a client wants to change the date or time of their appointment.

Next Available Appointment (Available in Day View Only)

In the schedule column header and under the provider's name, there is a date with a drop down arrow beside it. Clicking the arrow will reveal a drop down list of options.   Selecting Next Available Apt will open a window presenting available dates and times for future appointments for that particular provider.

Once a date is selected, the schedule will automatically navigate to that date.

Changing Providers

The drop-down list will open a list of all of the providers you have selected in the Options menu. By clicking on any of them, the schedule will change to that provider. If you have set your Default to multiple columns, all of the providers will be listed with a comma separating their names in this box. The buttons with a +/- symbol temporarily allow you to add or remove resources from the visible list. This can be helpful if a scheduled provider has many appointments on it and it is difficult to read.

Group Selection

The Groups drop down list consists of previously created groups of staff.  The Default group will show all staff that you selected from the Options screen.

When you select a group, Neo will store that as your preference - meaning anytime you open the schedule, that is the group that will load.

Selecting a time in that list will reload the screen with that provider and date in a single-column day view. To leave this view, click on the 'Schedule' menu choice, and the schedule will return to the current date and reload the group.

Once a Group is selected, the Search Group button will show all available times for anyone in that Group.
