Approve A Document After Client's Signature

Learn the steps to successfully approve a document after it has been signed by a client, ensuring proper handling and record-keeping.

 

Some client documents require staff approval after being signed but before appearing in the client's chart in Neo.

 


After the client has signed the document, it will still be listed under Upcoming/Pending/Incomplete Documents and will show Needs Staff Review.

You can review right from the Document Delivery screen by clicking the Review button.  It will open the document on a separate screen.

 


 

From Alerts

Click the Alerts tab.


 

Any documents that require review/approval will be listed under Client Signature Documents.  Click S(Select) to open the document.


 

Review/Approve the Document

 

Once reviewed, click Accept to approve the document.

You can check Restart Document if you need the client to re-sign - this will send a fresh copy of the document to the Client Portal/Staff App.

Click Reject if there's an issue with the document.  *If you are rejecting the document, you will need to enter a comment before proceeding.
