Creating Groups of Clients

Learn how to create groups of clients in Neo.  When scheduling Group sessions, you can then choose from these pre-selected groups of clients, rather than individually adding clients to each scheduled group. 


 

Click the Schedule menu option at the top of your screen.


 

Click the downward caret(v) on any of the dates shown(any date will work). Choose Group List Setup from the drop-down menu.


 

On the next screen, click Add to add a new Named group.


 

Complete all text fields.
  • Staff that will be involved with the group.
  • The Begin Date needs to be some date prior to when you want to start using this group.
  • You need not enter an End Date. if you choose to enter an end date, you won't be able to use this group after that End Date.
  • Name the group something specific, especially if there are to be more than one of any particular group session operating at the same time.  For example, IOP groups only held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday(IOP Group M-W-F) versus IOP groups only held on Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays(IOP Group T-T-F).
  • For the following example, the name of the group will be IOP Group M-W-F for a session that takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
  • Enter the length of the session in minutes
  • Select the location the group session will be held.
  • Choose the program IOP - Intensive Outpatient for the Program and click Save.

 


 

Click Add Client to add members to the group you just created.

 

Select clients by using the check boxes in the column to the far left. Once all intended clients have been selected, click Add Selected Clients.

 

Your group has now been created🗸

 

Going forward, when scheduling a Group Appointment, you will see groups you've created in the Group drop-down menu.
