Send A Text Message - No Expected Response 🎇

The Send Message option in Client Communications is NOT secure messaging.  DO NOT include any PHI when using that feature.

The Send Message will present you with two options.  Sending a text message intended to relay information with no response from the client is the option we're looking for in this case.

    Click Send Message.

Enter the message in the text field and verify the cell phone number to which you'd like to send the message.

The client's cell phone number will populate automatically if one is listed.

    Select a Number

The client and any Legal or Primary Caregiver & their phone number (if one is active in the client's chart) will be listed in this dropdown menu.

Choosing Enter Manually will reveal a text field where you can enter a phone number that you need to send the message to but isn't listed in the client's chart.

Because you aren't expecting a response, this will immediately be logged under History of Client Communications.
