Contact Log Entry
Contact Date
Type: Incoming Call, Outgoing Call and Contact (for mail, in person, faxes, etc).
Contact Name: It is a list of known contacts, but you can type anything in it.
Contact Details: This is a display of the codes selected in the frame next to it.
Activity: Primary reasons for the contact.
- All other options enhance the primary Activity for that contact.
- For instance, selecting the Activity of “Return call” and checking “Fee Schedule” results in a contact detail of “Caller responded to letter or message. Fee schedule discussed.”
- The text associated with the activities is held in a background table so more can be added or the text changed without correcting every contact log entry that used it.
Additional Information: When there are no Activity options that are correct, or there is unique information about this contact, this field can be used to hold that information.

Selecting a Contact Type will populate options under the Activity field as shown below.

Highlight Entry: Colors the row in the Contact Log list yellow for easy identification.
