When does the CSP Questionnaire appear in Atrezzo?

The CSP Questionnaire appears:

• On all children’s initial authorization requests; and
• On all CSRs for authorizations 

Providers must answer the following question:

“Has there been a recently completed Single Assessment for which you need to complete the initial CSP?”

• If Yes → The CSP Questionnaire will launch and must be completed.
• If No → The CSP Questionnaire will not launch.

After a Single Assessment – Adding a CSP Questionnaire

If a Single Assessment has been completed and you need to complete the initial CSP:

If the authorization is expiring within 30 days:

• Extend the authorization request.
• Answer Yes to the Single Assessment question.
• The CSP Questionnaire will launch and must be completed.

If the authorization is NOT expiring within 30 days:

• Discharge the current authorization.
• Submit a new request.
• Answer Yes to the Single Assessment question.
• The CSP Questionnaire will launch and must be completed.

CCBHC Authorizations

If the authorization is expiring within 30 days:

• The extension will automatically pull in the CSP and upload.
• If the CSP is not done before the extension is uploaded, it will fail to upload and then staff will need to complete the CSP and click the reload button in the CCBHC authorization and then resubmit/retry it.

If the authorization is NOT expiring within 30 days:

• Authorization will need to be discharged.
• Do the discharge from the MaineCare PA screen just like you would with Farmington clients/FFS.  
• Neo will automatically create the new authorization the next day and pull in the CSP (or you can re-add it from the services screen if you don't want to wait).
• If the CSP is not done before the authorization is uploaded, it will fail to upload.  When that occurs, follow the same process as above.

Please ensure the CSP Questionnaire is completed in Atrezzo when prompted.
