    Add An Email to Your Allow List

    Specify whether to block or exempt messages coming from a specific email address or domain.

     

    📧Add from a Quarantine Notification Email

    Receiving an email like this means someone is attempting to email you, but our email filtering system has blocked their message. To allow this message to come through to your inbox and allow future emails from the address to get to your inbox smoothly, you will first click Manage Quarantine.

    This will open up the Barracuda login page - enter your KBH email address here and click Continue.

    Select Continue with Microsoft.

    The quarantined email will be listed in your message log.

    Check the box next to the email and click the Deliver icon that's in the toolbar right above it.

    You can either choose to just have the email delivered or deliver the message AND automatically add the sender's address to the allow list so that future emails from this sender's email address will come through normally without having to complete all of these steps.

    Select the Deliver and add the sender(s) to your allow list option and click Deliver.

    You should then receive the email in your Outlook inbox as you normally receive all other emails.


     

    📧Verify an Email Address is on your Allow List

    To verify that the email address has been added to the Allow List, click Settings from the menu in the top left-hand corner and select Sender Policy.

    You should find the newly added email on this list - it is listed in alphabetical order.


     

    📧Allow A Quarantined Email & Add Sender's Email Address to Your Allow List

    From the KBH Staff Portal page, select Junk Email Filter from the Employee Links menu.

    This will open up the Barracuda login page - enter your KBH email address here and click Continue.

    Select Continue with Microsoft.

    The search filters default to:

    • Date Presets:  Last 2 Days
    • Action Taken:  Quarantined
    • Delivery Status:  Any
    • Reason:  Any

    You can adjust these if you are attempting to find an email from outside of those parameters.

    Check the box next to the email and click the Deliver icon that's in the toolbar right above it.

    You can either choose to just have the email delivered or deliver the message AND automatically add the sender's address to the allow list so that future emails from this sender's email address will come through normally without having to complete all of these steps.

    Select the Deliver and add the sender(s) to your allow list option and click Deliver.


     

    📧Add an Email Address to Your Block or Allowed List

    To verify that the email address has been added to the Allow List, click Settings from the menu in the top left-hand corner and select Sender Policy.

     

    Enter the email address in the Sender column, select exempt to allow the sender address's emails to come through, block to block emails from the sender, or quarantine for emails from this sender to be quarantined so you can decide whether or not you'd like the message to be delivered.

     

    Click Add to add the email to the list.

     

    You should find the newly added email on this list, which is listed in alphabetical order.

    Click the Remove button to remove the email from this list.
