Program Alerts

Treatment Plan Requirements

  • 24 hours from admission- Initial Plan Due
  • 7 days from admission, the treatment plan must be updated
  • Every two days following the 7th day of admission, the treatment plan must be updated

To get to Program Alerts

  • Go to your alerts tab located in the top menu of Neo

  • Click on Alerts and Program Alerts tab will open

  • Once Program Alerts open, you will want to select your program

  • Once you select your program you can press the options button to decide what type of alerts you want to show on the alerts page. Be sure to at least select “Treatment Plan Coming Due”

  • When you select: Treatment Plans Coming Due it will show you how many days remain before the treatment plan expires. All treatment plans have to be updated on Day seven (7) and every two days there-after. These treatment plan dates need to be monitored closely, because if a client gets an extension past the seven (7) day mark and there’s not treatment plan to cover the service, we are unable to bill the payor. Staff should also know that if the treatment plan is no longer pulling into the shift note that means the plan expired and needs to be updated and signed.

  • We have some cases cropping up where there’s no treatment plan to cover the final days of service. It’s going to take a collective approach from this group to make sure staff understand when and what to look for in regards to treatment plans. There is some training that needs to happen to ensure everyone has been educated around this. Please review this with your teams and let me know if you have any questions.😊
