The Date Navigation Tool
The Date Navigation Tool allows you to move between days easily by clicking the right or left arrows. Each click moves the schedule by one day in Day view or one week in Work Week view. The "Today" button gives you a quick way to move back to today's date. The arrow pointing down will open a calendar that you can use to navigate to any day in the past or future.

The Date Editor will allow direct access to date by typing in a value or dropping down the calendar and selecting a date.  Next Available Appointment (Day View Only)

In the schedule column header and under the provider's name, there is a date with a button next to it. When the button is clicked, more options become available. When the "Next Available Apt" option is selected, a new window will popup presenting available dates and times for future appointments. Once a date is selected, the schedule will automatically navigate to that date.

New Client TimeÂ
This option finds times that have been set aside for new clients that are still open. The search shows staff appointments with an activity code 'NEWCL' that are not double booked by other client appointments that consume all of the time. The search also shows other appointments that overlap the New Client Time that may or may not impact if the time is really available.Â

Work Week View
This view opens the schedule for up to 7 days for one provider. It always starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday. This view can be helpful to see a larger picture of the schedule load on one provider when a client wants to change the date or time of their appointment.

The button with the arrow pointing down will open a list of all of the providers you have selected in the "Options" menu. By clicking on any of them, the schedule will change to that provider/resource. If you have set your default to multiple columns, all of the providers will be listed with a comma separating their names in this box. The buttons with a +/- symbol temporarily allow you to add or remove resources from the visible list. This can be helpful if a scheduled resource has many appointments on it and it is difficult to read.
Group Selection and Searching
The Group Selector combo box is available to change the resource group. The '(Default)' group shows all the resources you have selected in the Options screen. Clicking the down arrow shows all of the available groups set up by a person with 'Scheduling Level 1' rights in the options screen. As each group is selected, it is "remembered" so that it is the default group on the next load of the screen.
Once a group is selected, the Search Group button will show all available times for anyone in that group. Selecting a time in that list will reload the screen with that provider and date in a single-column day view. To leave this view, click on the 'Schedule' menu choice, and the schedule will return to the current date and reload the group.
