What are they and what do they mean?
Neo alerts are a helpful tool to assist you in keeping track of documentation that is due, or that may be overdue (i.e. an upcoming treatment plan or assessment).Â

When you log into Neo you’ll see the Alerts tab at the top right corner.  Click on the tab and the Alerts screen will appear.

The alerts list can be customized by clicking the options button below your name.Â

Here are some of the most important alerts you’ll want to pay attention to, and what they mean:

Appointments Missing Notes | Unfinished progress notes for appointments marked as kept |
DSM | There is a diagnosis due |
Assessment Due | Comprehensive assessments due |
Release of Information | Annual updates needed (disregard if contact is no longer needed) |
Treatment Plan Coming Due | Based on the expiration date of the treatment plan (90 days) |
Treatment Plans Inactive Due To No Open Goals/Actions Steps | Client on your caseload with treatment plans that need goals/actions steps in order to provide service |
Treatment Plan Coming Due Based On # of Visits | Treatment plans due for review / update based on using 12 session maximum. Â (*This is the important one to pay attention to- begin developing new treatment plan when there are 4 sessions left*) |
Treatment Plan Client Signature | Treatment plans in need of client/guardian's signature in order to be valid. (*sessions won’t bill without a signed treatment plan*) |
New Clients (AC and SPM) | New clients transferred to your caseload |
Staff Forms Expiring | Annual staff compliance forms are due |
