You'll find the Addendum tool on the various notes throughout Neo.
*Addendums can only be added to signed notes* |
When would an Addendum be used?
An Addendum would be used to add additional relevant clinical information to an already completed and signed note.
If the additional creates a new intention or is changing the basis of the original note, it is likely a new note would be more appropriate than an Addendum. |
The Addendum button will appear once a note is created, but since you cannot add an Addendum until the note is signed. You will see the following message if you attempt to add an Addendum to an unsigned note. |
Once the note has been signed, click Addendum to add the Addendum 🗸 |
Enter the information in the Narrative text field, sign, and then click Save 🗸 |
The number to the left on the Addendum button indicates how many Addendums have been added to this specific note. |
To add another Addendum, click the Addendum button.
The existing Addendums will be listed at the top of the screen. Use the Narrative text field to enter the new Addendum, sign and click Save 🗸 |
When viewing the note in PDF form, the Addendums will be listed at the very end of the note. |
